Position Overview:

This position serves as the primary point of contact between our business, Artera, and our suppliers; The Procurement Manager is responsible for implementing procurement strategies with a focus on cost savings initiatives; vendor contract and relationship management, and continuous efforts to improve the performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability of organizational operations through process improvements.

Essential Functions:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Take the lead role in implementation of procurement initiatives negotiated by Artera.

  • Works closely with Artera, company operations, and senior management in evaluating and selecting suppliers.

  • Manage vendor contracts ensuring vendor quality and compliance.

  • Perform risk management analysis of vendor contracts and agreements

  • Manage and administer a corporate card program

  • Track and report key functional metrics as determined by senior management team

  • Formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to ensure adherence to best practices, customer compliance and SOX/GAAP compliance working closely with company Controller

  • Assist operations as needed with procurement quotes, within Artera guidelines.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration preferred

  • 10 years of successful experience as a director of procurement

  • Knowledge and experience in implementing procurement best practices

  • Established experience negotiating with suppliers and drafting agreements

  • Demonstrates commitment to high professional ethical standards

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style

  • Excels at operating in a fast pace environment

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

  • Excellent computer skills and proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
