Information Technology Application Administration Lead

The Information Technology Application Administration Lead supports technical solutions by leading a team in the support, maintenance, and complex troubleshooting of both new and existing in-house developed and purchased systems; these systems are deployed in site and in public and private clouds. Key enterprise application systems include Lawson, Customer Care and Billing, Work and Asset Management, Supply Chain, and Meter Data Management. Key enterprise shared technology systems include SharePoint, Oracle Business Intelligence, and Oracle WebCenter Suite.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a technical software team and participating in large enterprise projects for IT including analysis, design, and long term build-out of complex enterprise data systems

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex application/system issues

  • Identify, evaluate, coordinate, schedule and install application related patches and upgrades

  • Plan, create, improve and maintain procedures and documentation related to administration of software applications, system and architecture design and maintenance, and system release management

  • Build a high performing team, foster open communication, transparency, trust & collaboration within & across departments

  • Mentor, train, and conduct performance reviews of direct reports

  • Plan and schedule work assignments to ensure appropriate use of resources and timely delivery

  • Research information technology advancements and industry trends

  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing, including assisting with fault tolerance and producing/maintaining disaster recovery plans

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve system issues and outages

  • Support mission critical applications 7x24

What will it take to be successful in this position?

  • Five or more years of experience leading a technical software team

  • Demonstrated expertise in the administration, support and maintained of complex software applications and software platforms

  • Experience with Sharepoint and Office 365 Administration, Oracle Utilities application suite, Lawson or other enterprise HR/Financial applications, Maximo or other work and asset management applications would be highly beneficial

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer technology or a closely related field is desired
