Job Summary

This position is located at the Emissions Monitoring Support Center, a state-of-the-art facility located on Old Stage Road in Chester, VA.

The successful candidate manages teams responsible for DAHS administration, DAHS configuration, and routine reporting of air emissions data monitored by CMS. Responsible for approving the technical details of new DAHS work and changes in configuration. Supervises the completion of Electronic Data Reports for Acid Rain submissions. Identifies areas for continued improvement and provides training to others. Fosters a team environment for local and remote employees. Keeps current on environmental air regulations and summarizes changes to others, clearly indicating when processes and procedures must change to stay in compliance with the regulations. Responds to technical questions received from EPA or state regulators concerning reported data.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

  • 10+ years’ experience with Air Regulations

  • Ability to supervise and motivate technical staff, provide objectives and priorities

  • Strong verbal and written skills to communicate complex requirements

  • Ability to analyze regulatory requirements and develop strategic plans for implementation

  • Knowledge of EPA Regulations for Electric Power Generation Facilities, including:

  • 40CFR60 Subparts Da, Db, GG, KKKK

  • 40CFR63 Subparts DDDDD, UUUUU

  • Experience communicating with State Regulatory Agencies and/or EPA Offices

  • Familiar with PSD/Title V Permits

  • Strong math background, including statistics

  • Strong Data Analysis Skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience with StackVision

  • 5+ years’ experience with ECMPS checks and submissions

  • Experience with ERT and CEDRI

  • Knowledge of Stack Emissions Tests and Test Methods including 40CFR60 Appendix A, Methods 1-5, 10

  • Knowledge of CMS systems including various approaches to measuring continuous emissions

  • Knowledge of EPA Regulations for Electric Power Generation Facilities, including 40 CFR 75

  • Ability to perform calculations to determine quantities of pollutants released from concentration measurements

  • Experience supervising employees located in multiple locations

  • Completion of Dominion Energy’s Leadership Foundations Course

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, or Environmental Field
