The Senior Manager of Creative Writing Services leads a team through vision, strategy, design and implementation of innovative, effective communications programs and products aimed at advancing the enterprise mission and business results. Develop consistent, effective message structure and narrative across all TVA communication platforms. Partners with key stakeholders to strengthen alignment between business priorities and enterprise-wide strategy (structure, processes, systems,) ensuring the development and advancement of an empowered, values-driven workplace culture.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Promotes “People First” culture throughout the respective organization; acts as a highly visible role model to motivate exceptional performance and teamwork across TVA.

  • Ability to develop and implement an effective, consistently message structure/narrative for use across all TVA communication platforms.

  • Fosters a culture of accountability, trust, collaboration, recognition, development, and results among staff at all levels consistent with the short and long-term objectives of the HR&C organization.

  • Establishes and maintains strong relationships with senior leaders and internal HR&C leaders to understand business needs, ensuring that leadership and talent development initiatives add measurable value and are as consistent as possible.

  • Creates strategies and programs designed to build organizational capability and shape the culture in support of achieving enterprise strategic objectives.

  • Collaborates with and supports key stakeholders to provide content development associated with strategies and plans and deliverables.

  • Develops and educates HR&C on content creation services, strategies and tools.

  • Develops and consults with key stakeholders on developing and deliveryof written content to support strategies and plans.

  • Identifies and manages external vendors as necessary in support of content creation communications services.

  • Collaborates with the People First Solution Center to maintain the Content Library and Style Guide to ensure consistency in voice, tone and language.

  • Leverages the People First Solution Center for the implementation and delivery of solutions.

  • Adheres to brand guidelines provided by corporate marketing, as applicable .

  • This job operates in a normal professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, fax machines, and filing cabinets.
