This is the second level of a 3 classification hierarchy. Employees at this level provide analytical support, reporting and project management duties across all jurisdictions that relate to renewable strategy and compliance business, including one or more of the following: renewable compliance, power or REC contracts, tariffs, customer programs, asset development and budget development and reporting. This level requires general supervision. Incumbents are expected to develop advanced skills and the ability to work with greater independence. They effectively apply budgeting, regulatory and renewable concepts and procedures to their work and analysis that is fairly complex and varied.

Responsibilities

Provides renewable analytics and resolution of business needs.

Ensures business goals and objectives are accomplished through effective market insights, planning, organizing and work monitoring.

Prepares thorough and accurate renewable reports and documentation.

Develops positive working relationships using effective oral and written communication skills while representing the company in a positive and professional manner.

Strives to continually improve renewable business processes, procedures and performance.

Required Qualifications

Graduation from a four-year college or university with a degree in Engineering or Business (any) AND 5 plus years of work related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field such as engineering, policy, accounting, finance or environmental studies.

2+ years of research of renewable energy markets or renewable technologies

Quantitative modeling and financial analysis skills

Job-specific knowledge, skills or abilities

Strong written and interpersonal communication skills. Problem solving, project management and implementation skills. Quantitative modeling and financial analysis experience.
