Position Summary: We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage key internal and contractor-run projects.

The Project Manager will lead interaction with our internal and external teams and serve as the driver for successful development and project implementation. This hands-on position requires interaction and significant coordination with internal operations and technology teams to implement these new products and services.

This position’s primary responsibilities include facilitating the use of Agile practices, tracking critical development milestones, monitoring process adherence, identifying and removing impediments, escalating risks and ensuring temporal uniformity from one sprint cycle to another across multiple, full-stack delivery teams.

The Project Manager will communicate frequently with key stakeholders, ensure detailed project requirements are met and documented to satisfy stakeholders, manage scheduled implementation, and monitor progress from initial scoping to delivery.

The Project Manager must be able to multi-task, have high energy, and possess excellent interpersonal skills, impeccable attention to detail, and a commitment to client satisfaction and success.

The Project Manager must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with challenging deadlines and multiple priorities. This incumbent in this position will be expected to contribute information, ideas and recommendations to both tactical and strategic plans, defining customer-service standards, determining systems or operational improvements and implementing change.

The Project Manager needs to demonstrate abilities to effectively communicate at the executive level; managing C-suite delivery expectations in addition to surfacing status and facilitating business priorities negotiations.

Essential Functions:

  • Communicates at the executive level and facilitates business priorities negotiations.

  • Establishes and cultivates trust and confidence with internal project teams and clients.

  • Leads the planning and implementation of multiple projects.

  • Works independently or collaborates with system integrators to develop full scale, integrated project plans.

  • Facilitates the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.

  • Ensures vendors deliver to project management best practices with the appropriate qualitative and quantitative metrics.

  • Manages project budget and timelines.

  • Builds a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on problem-solving.

  • Coordinates internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.

  • Ensures that all projects are delivered on-time, within the scope and budget.

  • Develops project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.

  • Ensures resource availability and allocation.

  • Develops a detailed project plan to track progress.

  • Uses appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.

  • Measures project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.

  • Reports and escalates to management as needed.

  • Manages the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.

  • Performs risk management to minimize project risks.

  • Establishes and maintains relationships with third parties/vendors.

  • Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Proven skills to work effectively across internal functional areas in ambiguous situations.

  • Proven experience with both SaaS and internal company facing delivery models.

  • Possesses effective written and oral communication skills and ability to interpret data and influence leaders.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.

  • Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a focus on the end user and end to end process.

  • Ability to manage and balance speed to market, agility, scalability, robustness and security.

  • Strong sense of user/customer experience and needs for both external clients and internal power-users.

  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgement.

  • Exceptional service orientation.

  • Self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail.

  • On-call availability and ability to work under pressure.

  • Preferably educated in the fields of computer science or engineering for technical project managers.

  • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.

  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • PMP / PRINCE II / ITIL / Six Sigma certification is a plus.

  • Ability to manage and balance speed to market, agility, scalability, robustness and security.

  • Self-starter who relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals in complex, fast-paced environment to ensure the quality of all deliverables.

  • Strong sense of user/customer experience and needs for both external clients and internal power-users.

  • Experience with various Agile frameworks, test driven development and pair programming, continuous integration/continuous delivery.

  • Proficient skills and knowledge of facilitation, situational awareness, empathy, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.

  • Willingness to travel 10 percent for work and meeting with internal teams in multiple offices.

Other Requirements :

  • A Bachelor Degree in computer science, mathematics or a related field is required.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management.

  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience as a hands-on Agile Coach and/or Scrum Master.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience on Oracle Cloud SaaS with HCM/PAY, ERP and PPM experience.

  • Must have legal right to work in the US.
