As a Senior Buyer, your key responsibilities will be to work independently, plays a key role to research, source, evaluate and purchase goods and services. The Senior Buyer represents Michels Corporation in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers. This role must demonstrate strategic principles and professional experience. Strong communication skills are required for this position.

    What it takes:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, 7+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination

  • International buying experience

  • Development and negotiation of MVA's (Master Vendor Agreements) within multiple states

  • Computer proficiency

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and project a professional image at all times

  • Proficiency with using eProcurement or eSourcing tools (desired)

  • Relevant industry experience (desired)
