As a Health, Safety, and Environmental Coordinator, your key responsibility will be to coordinate and maintain Environmental and safety compliance, education, and training programs. This position will be focusing on air emissions and sustainability initiatives. You will also perform environmental observations and audits, handle environmental impacts and regulatory requirements for projects and facilities, and interact with the customer’s environmental representative in project situations.

    What it takes:

  • 4 year degree with emphasis in environmental studies, natural sciences, engineering or related field (equivalent years of related experience also acceptable)

  • 2+ years of environmental or related experience

  • Previous experience completing air emission inventory calculations and air permitting tasks from stationary (minor source) and mobile source registrations

  • Experience with Greenhouse gas/ carbon accounting and reporting

  • Experience with environmental, social, governance (ESG) advancements in an organization

  • Knowledge of Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and implementation

  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel

  • Microsoft Power BI user (desired).

  • Environmental certifications related to your subject expertise (desired).

  • Comfortable presenting technical subject matter, communicating effectively to different audience types.

  • Previous experience advising internal management on environmental compliance and ESG matters.

  • Ability to negotiate compliance issues and act as liaison of company project management for regulatory visits or issues.

  • A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record.
