Transmission Analyst - Birmingham, AL
The Transmission Analyst position is responsible for creating, maintaining, and analyzing schedules and administrative support for Primavera. This role provides direct project support to the Project Managers, Project Coordinators, Project Controls and Project Stakeholders. The position is also expected to work closely with all project stakeholders by providing project communication, application support, and training. This role will work in a team environment in support of projects and process improvements.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Assist in detailed monitoring and analysis of project schedules, budgets, and expenditures
Create, maintain, and analyze project schedules through Primavera based on information provided through project stakeholders, project meetings, and project communication.
Provides overall project support to assigned Project Managers and Project Coordinators
Serve as Administrator of Primavera and provide Primavera Training
- 4-year degree in engineering, business, or accounting preferred
Project Scheduling and/or Project Management experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of project management approaches, tools and phases of a project lifecycle Analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong oral and written communication skills across all organization levels
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks under the pressure of deadlines and shifting priorities
Ability to effectively communicate project details to all project stakeholders
Ability to take the project lead when required in support of the Project Manager
