Contacts (Internal and External):

  • Internal contacts: Global Energy Management (traders, portfolio managers, regulation), IT, Sales and Supporting teams, to Coordinate the deployment of new products, follow up on contracting activity and costs, monitor the level of risk assumed, understand the contracted portfolio and make risk management decisions.

  • External contacts: Market operator, Tranmission System Operador mercado, operadores transporte, wholesale asocciations, regulators, to Understand market regulations and rules and their application to business.


Position forecasting:

  • Monitor customer consumption and transport measures and possible unscheduled or unplanned stops and TSO.

  • Specification, validation and operation of energy demand forecasting models.

  • Short-term forecast of the consumption of IBERDROLA's customers in Germany, for electricity and natural gas, to minimize the cost of imbalances.

  • Long-term forecast based on customer portfolio data.

P&L calculation of the wholesale position:

  • B2B and B2C electricity and natural gas pricing: price wholesale cost of retail supply to final customers and understand risks associated to this activity (definition of risk premium calculations (electricity and gas).

  • Develop relationships with market operators, system operators and counterparties.

  • Iberdrola´s representation within EFET Germany and other associations

  • Support for the design of different strategies for energy supply in the futures markets (electricity).

  • Monitoring and reporting on the regulations applicable to the wholesale markets of electricity and natural gas.

Required Profile:

  • Degree – Specialty - Postgraduate

Languages (Minimum Level Required):

  • German: Very high

  • Spanish: Very high

  • English: High

Computer skills:

  • SQL y Phyton
