Your Impact at SAM

A Staff Accountant will mainly be responsible for preparing journal entries and maintaining reconciliations. This position reports to the Controller and assists with answering inquiries from operations, executives and outside auditors.

  • Process month end reconciliation and closing process through financial statements

  • Provide detailed excel spreadsheet creation, maintenance, and modification

  • Monitor and post to general ledger accounts

  • Prepare journal entries

  • Provide analytical problem solving and reporting

  • Provide assistance with ad hoc management reporting and presentations

  • Perform other tasks as assigned to help accomplish the Company’s strategic goals

  • This position does not have supervisory responsibilities

What You Bring to SAM

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate to advanced Excel skills

  • Ability to multi-task and problem solve

  • Payroll experience is a plus

  • CPA or CPA Candidate is a plus

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
