Renewable Development Reporting Analyst



The Reporting Analyst supports all efforts in Renewable Development reporting on Georgia Power’s complete renewable portfolio of more than 2,500 projects, program PPAs, and participation in multiple renewable energy program options. This includes management of all ongoing internal and external reporting requirements, support of Regulatory filings and engagement, and coordination of internal and external data and information requests. This role will also be responsible for managing and enhancing the accuracy for Renewable Development’s PowerClerk applications used for reporting and project interconnection applications. The Reporting Analyst also has primary responsibility for ensuring accuracy for all internal and external reporting, including SCS, Resource Planning, Environmental Affairs, Fuel and Regulatory Accounting and providing information to external organizations, such as the EIA and SEPA.


  1. Monthly reporting/verifications for all Renewable Programs and Contracts (RNR, ASI, REDI, Simple Solar, Community Solar, EIA, other PPAs, associated Expenses, RTP Fuel renewable verifications, REC Inventory, etc.)

  2. Support the maintenance and ongoing development of PowerClerk to maintain reporting accuracy

  3. Play significant role in development and support of IRP and Rate Cases, annual IRP updates, and PSC reporting

  4. Create content and respond to requests for information and renewable data from internal and external organizations and for media requests and messaging plans

  5. Provide accurate and timely production of renewable energy program reports for the PSC and GPC Management

  6. Support and partner with Utility Scale and Distributed Generation implementation teams for contract and reporting accuracy


Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or Economics highly preferred

  • Prior experience in two or more of the following areas: renewable development, pricing and rates, economic analysis, generation, customer service, power delivery, corporate sales/marketing, energy efficiency, generation planning.

  • Demonstrated experience working across multiple organizations to achieve effective outcomes.

  • Strong knowledge in the areas of renewable programs/tariffs, customer service/billing, compliance/contract management, and regulatory affairs preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of Georgia Power’s renewable programs.

  • Understands the impact that successful reporting has on public perception and regulatory treatment of Georgia Power Company.

  • Work ethic and drive to deliver high quality results in a timely and organized manner.

  • Desire for process design and improvement.

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of PowerClerk, Excel, Word, Power Point.

  • Ability to work through multiple internal audiences to communicate with customers and other stakeholders at all levels of leadership.

  • Must have good problem solving/analytical skills and be able to troubleshoot complex issues.

  • Working knowledge of CSS, SOFIA, and associated reporting tools.
