Trainer & Course Developer-CS

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Develop training programs using the ADDIE model or a similar approach, including but not limited to instructor presentations, instructor guides, participant guides, reference guides, elearning modules and videos.

  2. Revise, review and maintain all necessary training materials, including but not limited to: Instructor presentations, Instructor Guides, participant guides, reference guides, online knowledge tool, participant handouts,. When required, prepare training plans for future Customer Services initiatives.

  3. Conduct training sessions. Can be one on one, hands on, or lecture style training sessions. Must be able to evaluate and adjust as needed the training program based on employee feedback regarding attainment of course objective, course materials.

  4. Evaluate participant performance and the effectiveness of training through administration of written and skill-based evaluations and through observation and job-shadowing of employee. Provide feedback orally and in writing to the employees and management.

  5. Maintain training CS roadmap/calendar, reporting, tracking, coordinate communications, inventory, order materials and supplies necessary to support. delivery, coordinate supporting logistics.

  6. Process accurate and timely training records as necessary to ensure that the company's tracking systems are accurate.

  7. Coordinate with technology to understand real time changes to tools and how that impacts curriculum design training material.

Position Summary:

Primarily responsible for the design and delivery of training & QA programs and/or other interventions for PPL employees in Customer Service discipline. Evaluate and analyze feedback and key metrics to measure the overall effectiveness of training programs.

Candidate Qualifications:

Candidates must meet the basic qualifications and pass all required tests or assessments to receive consideration. In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility form upon hire.

Basic Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.

  2. Minimum3 years of presentation/facilitative skills as a trainerand in customer services.

  3. Strong communication, presentation and facilitation skills.

  4. Excellent organizational, planning and coordination skills – able to plan, prioritize, respond and adapt proactively to changing deadlines and demands.

  5. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.

  6. Travel required in the PA area and out of state.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience using trainer and developer products such as Vyond, UMU, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Adobe Premier apps, Storyline 360, Camtasia, Snag it and Captivate.

  2. CBT and Blended Learning solutions experience such as, informal learning, social collaboration techniques, peer-to-peer learning, performance support aids/tools, etc.

  3. Project Management experience and ability to effectively present solutions and ideas to key stakeholders, overcome potential issues and manage to tight deadlines.
