Manages, directs, and provides oversight for the development and implementation of the PPL EU Corrective Action Program and the PPL EU Human Performance Program.
Serves as the primary internal consultant for PPL EU leadership for corrective action, human performance, and process improvement subject areas. Consulting is done in the areas of event investigation, EU processes or procedures, self-assessments, work execution, process impovement, quality assurance, or other appropriate areas for improving safety, human performance, event reduction, system reliability, financial performance, and customer satisfaction.
Develops and implements a strategic PPL EU Human Performance Plan and assists with the development of regional Human Performance plans. Plans include the leadership, development, and delivery of company-wide Human Performance and Corrective Action improvement, education, and training projects
Leads, coordinates, and monitors system-wide analysis and trending of safety, human performance, reliability, corrective action, and quality assurance data across PPL Electric Utilities operations and support.
Supports root cause analysis for any significant condition adverse to quality or other conditions that warrant an event analysis.
Ensures detection and reporting of any significant conditions adverse to quality. Monitors and advises corrective action program screening process to ensure correct classification of condition reports.
Responsible for assisting EU personnel with the development and maintenance of self-assessment programs.
Manages, organizes, and delivers PPL EU human performance improvement activities and initiatives.
In-person supervision of employees to ensure compliance with FLSA wage and hour issues as well as to monitor compliance with safety rules.
Physical presence in the office/on-site to engage in face-to-face interaction and coordination of work among direct reports and co-workers.
May be assigned an Electric Utilities emergency and storm role. This is a special assignment that comes into play during storms and other emergencies when the company needs to restore power or respond to other issues affecting customer service. This role may necessitate the need to work after-hours, outside of your normal schedule.
This position is responsible for the management, design, and implementation of the PPL Electric Utilities Experience Assessment programs which include the Corrective Action Program and Human Performance and other Performance Improvement Programs as determined. The individual will establish, implement, monitor and review company corrective action activities and human performance procedures and improvement processes and ensures root cause analysis (event analysis) are conducted in accordance with policies and procedures. This individual provides management and administrative control over the PPL EU Corrective Action Program.
Candidates must meet the basic qualifications and pass all required tests or assessments to receive consideration.In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility form upon hire.
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience utilizing human performance, experience assessment, human factors engineer, or quality assurance principles.2. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a leadership, team-lead, or supervisory role.

Regular or Temporary:
- Bachelor's degree 2. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in an industrial setting. 3. Strong knowledge of investigation processes, event analysis processes, audit processes, corrective action program, self-assessment, and performance improvement processes. 4. Two (2) years of experience (or equivalent education) performing statistical analysis and trending, and generating actionable knowledge from the results.
