IT Workforce Specialist

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with business stakeholders to define the strategic direction of the IT organization

  • Implement the IT workforce operating model, including recruitment in accordance with the talent model

  • Work with IT Finance to attract, develop, and retain talent that aligns with the needs of the IT organization and the strategic direction of the business

  • Design process flows and service delivery models

  • Track supply / demand and skill gaps across the organization

  • Track the recruitment pipeline for specific functional needs

  • Define workforce skill base metrics

  • Analyze talent pipeline and compliance across functions

Physical presence in the office/on-site to engage in face-to-face interaction and coordination of work among direct reports and co-workers.

May be assigned an Electric Utilities emergency and storm role. This is a special assignment that comes into play during storms and other emergencies when the company needs to restore power or respond to other issues affecting customer service. This role may necessitate the need to work after-hours, outside of your normal schedule.

Position Summary:

The IT Workforce Specialist is responsible for defining the overall workforce strategy to cater to various business needs. Maintains an inventory of resources, skills, and availability; schedules resources; allocates resource capacity to the right activities; and plans for additional resources required to meet demand.

Candidate Qualifications:

Candidates must meet the basic qualifications and pass all required tests or assessments to receive consideration.
