Financial Analyst - EU
Extract and deliver useful statistics and insight from financial budget and actual data in order to drive and support operational improvements and business strategies.
Perform most advanced or specialized work requiring comprehensive knowledge of accounting and financial theory and principles.
Prepare complex financial forecasting models using advanced modeling techniques.
Responsible for developing high level analyses, recommending courses of action based on data, and presenting to Senior Management.
Compiles and reviews budgets, taking into consideration actual performance, previous expenditures, and estimated expenses and income. Develops and utilizes the results from planning and financial models.
Review, identify, analyze, and create detailed documentation of business process and supporting systems.
May lead special projects or teams.
This position is responsible for performing analysis and developing solutions of complex financial process and technical problems with a focus on improving financial and operational effectiveness and performance. The Financial Analyst will prepare and deliver well-constructed business insights to management, lead teams on select project assignments, and enhance the overall organizational understanding of financial concepts and their impact on business decisions. The ideal candidate is a well-organized self-starter with a passion to optimize the decision making process through rigorous utilization of data.
Candidates must meet the basic qualifications and pass all required tests or assessments to receive consideration. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business with five years analytical/problem solving experience OR Master's degree with two years analytical/problem soloving experience.
Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as SAS, Hyperion, Microstrategy, Tableau and Hadoop.
In-depth knowledge in statistical analysis, economic modeling and data visualization.
Strong analysis, research and complex problem solving skills.
Proficient in MS Suite (Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) or other advanced statistical computer applications.

Regular or Temporary:
Master’s Degree in business or a quantitative discipline.
Ability to tell a story from analysis to be able to identify/solve business opportunities.
