Digital Content Specialist
This job requires high level knowledge in three areas: Information Architecture, SharePoint Online, taxonomy building and management. These combined skills are used to manage PPL’s digital content strategy.
Executes a site-wide digital content management strategy to maintain accurate information in PPL’s knowledge-management applications by using metadata, taxonomy, and tagging within SharePoint Online document libraries.
Applies established naming strategies and structure to existing and new content.
Makes content consumable, findable, and governable.
Facilitates and performs content migration, verifying proper application of metadata to ensure accurate enterprise-level terms structure.
Works collaboratively with teammates, various business line stakeholders, and subject matter experts which includes IT, regions, operations, engineering, corporate, finance, and customer service to manage processes for the digital content portfolio.
Maintains thorough knowledge of digital channel technology platforms and engagement methodologies used by industry peers.
May be assigned an Electric Utilities emergency and storm role. This is a special assignment that comes into play during storms and other emergencies when the company needs to restore power or respond to other issues affecting customer service. This role may necessitate the need to work after-hours, outside of your normal schedule.

In the case of remote work, physical presence in the office/on-site may be required to engage in face-to-face interaction and coordination of work among direct reports and co-workers.
This position will be responsible for the integrity of content within the digital content management lifecycle. This role enables, maintains, and supports the exchange of content through taxonomy building- management and proper application of term definitions and metadata. The successful candidate must be capable of influencing and supporting subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure that all digital management practices follow regulatory compliance and strategic governance. In addition, the role fosters a digital-first mindset for continuous innovation. This position requires a strong working knowledge of SharePoint Online, Microsoft tools, and native computer systems.

Associates Degree and 7 years' experience or Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years' experience.
Solid knowledge of information architecture
Experience in cataloging, digital filing, taxonomies, version control, metadata/tagging, and document review cycles
Strong attention to detail with high standards for quality work product
Excitement, curiosity, and passion for shaping the future of digital content management

Regular or Temporary:
