Administrator I

SUMMARY:Under direct supervision, provides assistance to management and administers special projects.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Conducts reviews of current operations, systems or programs for efficiency and effectivenessRecommends changes and improvements where appropriateServes as the functional unit or managerial unit Budget CoordinatorAssists management with monitoring budget variance reports and budget changes for compliance with company policy and department budget guidelinesActs as a liaison between the manager or executive and his or her direct reportsDevelops project plans and coordinates or directs special projects for managementCOMPETENCIES: Knowledge of project management principles, practices and techniquesKnowledge of budgeting systems and budget variance reportingExcellent organization and planning skillsAbility to pay attention to detailQUALIFICATIONS MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED with five to six years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience related to the discipline.COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memosAbility to write correspondenceAbility to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organizationANALYSIS AND PROBLEM-SOLVING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
