National Grid Supervisor, Sales Processing in Syracuse, New York
_About the Position:_
The Supervisor of Sales Processing will provide oversight to a team of Sales Processing Representatives, responsible for efficiently capturing, tracking, processing, and routing approved customer applications from vendors to ensure accurate data capture across the various tracking systems for EE and other energy related programs and services for non-residential customers.
_Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):_
Develop objective performance criteria and measure performance of individual and Sales Processing team members. Ensure that all functional service level agreements are adhered to in the overall delivery of high quality service to customers.
Lead a group to deliver excellent work processing support to the Sales teams on customer applications.
Oversee accuracy in usage of IT systems, data warehouse, and CRM systems such as Business Objects, InDemand, and SAP to capture critical customer data.
Analyze EE data and develop Business Objects reports to track and communicate about key performance indicators.
Assist team members by providing oversight and managing proper interpretation of policies and guidelines in resolving difficult tasks and customer issues.
Monitor the overall workload of the team and distribute workload evenly amongst the group. Coordinate and assign supplemental and ancillary tasks and projects beyond the standard daily work activities.
Represent and advocating for the group relative to customer needs with external departments when required
Determine the need for change in policy, procedure, or technology that will allow the Sales Processing Group to improve in delivering the highest quality in customer service in a cost-effective manner.
Develop and monitoring budgets to ensure the group meets its financial obligation to the Company.
Provide support to team and work with Program and Policy group and other external departments to ensure consistent interpretation of tariff, policies, and procedures as well as compliance on programs tracked by Sales Processing.
Provide strong communications for the group both internally and with external customers and stakeholders to support key regulatory issues and governmental mandates.
Ensure the workplace is a safe and inclusive environment for all employees.
Manage staffing levels necessary to achieve the overall goals of the group.
Ensure the necessary training is delivered and maintained in order to enable the staff to provide the highest quality service.
_Knowledge & Experience Required:_
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Engineering or other related fields
A minimum of 3 years related experience.
MBA or equivalent desirable.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to make independent decisions.
Must possess understanding of business, finance, engineering and technical concepts.
Working knowledge of business support and computer applications including Microsoft Office applications, Sales Force.com, and Customer Information Systems (e.g., CSS).
Ability to conduct meetings or lead group discussions.
Excellent organizational and planning skills
