Job Summary

CenterPoint Energy is looking for a Residential HVAC Installation Supervisor to join our Team , located in Minnesota

You will have the ability to: Manages the installation services and performance to ensure quality and customer satisfaction. Manages service professionsals to ensure all safety, quality, and financial goals are obtained. Monitors risk, workload allocation and installation expenses. Effectively communicates company standards and performance expectations. Duties include labor management, exception resolution, code compliance and may include contract negotiation.

Essential Functions

  • Builds and maintains positive relationships with internal and external business partners based on trust, consideration and respect.

  • Evaluates information and situations, performs quality audits and field visits, and develops processes and procedures that improve effectiveness.

  • Presents information in a clear, organized and concise manner that is both grammatically and technically accurate.

  • Follows and stays up to date with building and mechanical codes.

  • Generates innovative solutions to overcome obstacles to meet job requirements while adhering to company policies and procedures.

  • Provides work direction and deploys resources in a cost-effective manner to achieve desired results.

  • Participates in Duty Supervisor rotation.

  • Participating in inventory audits as requested and other duties as assigned.

Education Description

  • Requires a 2-year Associate Degree in HVAC or related trade or coursework in business administration and/or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.

Experience

  • Requires three or more years experience in HVAC installation, plumbing or related trade services. Demonstrated conflict resolution experience and leadership ability.
