Field Inventory Specialist

Location: Harrisburg, PA

This position maintains a comprehensive parts inventory in the field. Individuals in this role must manage daily tasks under minimal supervision. This position requires 100% travel throughout the United States.

The essential duties and responsibilities of the position include, but not limited to:

  • Maintain and promote a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors, and customers and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.

  • Help minimize costs by utilizing existing inventory.

  • Verify receipt of product received and complete regular parts audits to ensure inventory accuracy.

  • Provide onsite support for the Equipment Allocations team.

  • Maintain fuel system report software.

  • Prepare and distribute weekly reports.

  • Ensure requisition of supplies is accurately documented by field employees.

  • Assist with job close out.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of work experience in a parts room and/or using an inventory tracking system. This position requires basic computer proficiency. Candidates should have basic knowledge of automotive and/or equipment parts. Applicants must also possess a valid driver’s license. Other qualifications include ability to multi task while working in a fast paced work environment, self-motivation, strong attention to detail and understanding of basic customer service principles.
